Size Matters

There was no way the settee would fit through the door. The delivery man was certain of it. There was absolutely no way that it would go in through the window, so he dismissed that idea immediately.

He couldnโ€™t believe that he had been given this job. The settee was a giant. A mammoth thing which was also heavier than it looked.

He needed to look at things from another angle. He couldnโ€™t leave the settee where it was, that would be unfair to the customer.

He gave in. He sent a text to his boss, โ€˜Send the bigger vanโ€™!

” There was absolutely no way that it would go in through the window,” ๐Ÿ˜‰ ROTFL ๐Ÿ˜€ Oh dear…the thought of a settee that size going through ANY window!! LOL ๐Ÿ˜‰ You do have a delightfully sharp mind and a great sense of humour AquaTom ๐Ÿ™‚ and I never know what you’re going to dream up next! And no…it wouldn’t have been at all fair on the customer to leave the mammoth settee where it was…in the circumstances!! lol ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow…talk about a twist. There I was merrily imagining a man trying to get the settee into a house..hehe. It’s also nice to see you using the word settee instead of couch!!

Sorry about throwing you off the scent with this one, Shree… yes, I always use the word couch, but settee wanted to be used in this story. It seems to make it seem bigger somehow as well…
