Happy Halloween!

Yes! It’s here! One of my favourite days of the year! Nothing to fear! Halloween is here!

Sorry about that. I don’t know what came over me… I do like Halloween for some reason. Years ago, it was something of nothing, but today it seems to have gathered a bit of an air of importance around it. For the past few years, we have been treated to live editions of Most Haunted on TV, where the team would go in search of ghosts and other spirits, erm, live, but it isn’t on this year. A new series called simply “Paranormal Investigation: Live” appears to have replaced it. New teams with new methods for trying to capture evidence that ghosts actually exist.

I don’t need to watch TV to know that, though. My ghostly visitor has been a little quiet of late, but I’m sure I have heard her in the night, letting me know she is around.  She has started to move papers around now. In the stillness of the night, I’ll hear one piece of paper slip from where it was lying. I don’t mind admitting it does startle me a little. Well, you don’t really expect any kind of movement when you are settling down to sleep, do you?

I don’t know if she will visit me today, though. I’ve heard that they aren’t particularly keen on our Halloween celebrations, and tend to stay away on this day.  I could be wrong though. I don’t mind it when she visits. I wonder if she’ll write her name on one of the pieces of paper that she moves next time she pops in… That will be cool. I can start to find out more about her then!

As well as my ghost, I’ve written a few posts over the past few weeks featuring a few other Halloween favourites, all to pass the time in anticipation for today… witches, vampires, werewolves and demons have all been mentioned. They’ll probably be mentioned again in the future, after all, there will be another Halloween next year! And I think monsters and aliens may be mentioned too. And why not?

Another thing to mention with it being Halloween and all, my banner will start to look slightly less cluttered again from tomorrow. I can’t leave it decorated for Halloween all the time, can I? Here’s how it was meant to look… the black cat seems to have disappeared from the banner when I added it. Spooky.

Whatever you are doing today, however you are spending Halloween, enjoy it! Have a great day!!!

Aquatom1969 and the Psychic Vampires

I’m really looking forward to this movie being released. Ever since I posted about my secret identity my online character has been a major talking point around the world. I’ve had to get an agent for Aquatom1969, and another one to protect the real me. I can only do written interviews, obviously, as my real identity would be given away in an instant if I were to appear on TV and in the papers, and I couldn’t even appear on the radio because the presenter would see me. And what a casting coup! They’ve got Tom Welling to play me. Well, he would be the obvious choice, really, after playing Clark Kent so well in the Smallville series. I wonder if he can do an English accent? Actually, I know he can. He’s met me, but he didn’t know it was me…

I’ve had to make up a lot of stuff for the writers though, as I can’t give them all of my details because of the secret identity thing. They know that I live in a large mansion. I couldn’t tell them that it is an eighty room mansion, because that might narrow things down a little. They know all about my coincidences, well, the ones that I changed the details with anyway. I didn’t tell them about the time I had my haircut and I looked like a pineapple – I don’t think that would make a good scene in the film.

I did tell them about my life as a vampire, and how I’m interested in living my life in a way that feels good. I told them how I’m interested in magic, love the tarot and oracle readings, like blogging, and love to create events and circumstances in my life through Cosmic Ordering and by the Law of Attraction that makes other people say “How do you do that?”! I think this last paragraph highlights the reason why they named the movie what they did.

So, on to the plot. Aquatom1969 has learned that vampires have somehow managed to bridge the gap between parallel dimensions and have started to invade this dimension. He found out completely by coincidence when walking passed a shop that had a broken window and it’s burglar alarm was sounding. In the corner of his eye, he saw one of the vampires dashing around the corner. As the police were in attendance he went to tell them, but, unfortunately, the vampire had been there first… These vampires, sensing that Aquatom1969 was also a vampire, fled the scene. Not wanting to cause alarm to anyone else in the world, Aquatom1969 decided that he alone must send all of these vampires back to their own dimension. Does he do it? We’ll have to wait and see when the movie is released.

They’ve filmed two endings, so I don’t know how it turns out either!

And I’ve heard that a sequel is in the planning stages… Aquatom1969 and the Zombie Squad. I’ll write more about this when I see the plot myself.

Aquatom’s world

I exist simultaneously in an unlimited number of possible parallel worlds. There’s literally billions of them. Right at this moment across those worlds, it is snowing, raining, foggy, misty, icy, cool, windy, sunny, warm… and in some worlds all at once!

  • I’m up early and having a lie in at the same time.
  • I’m in Manchester and New York City at the same time.
  • I’m being visited by my ghostly friend (and all of her friends too!) and not having any visitors at the same time.
  • I’m earning more per hour and earning nothing at all at the same time.
  • I’m full of confusion and everything is crystal clear at the same time.
  • Traffic lights are permanently on red whenever I approach them, and they are permanently on green whenever I approach them too.
  • I’m full of rage when I’m behind the wheel of my car, and I’m perfectly calm at the same moment.
  • I’ve published my fiftieth book and am just about to start my first book.
  • I write a blog that helps people around the world and I write a blog that makes no sense at all.
  • I live in an eighty room mansion and I live in a box.
  • I’m extremely happy and depressingly sad.
  • I’m living the life of my dreams and the life of my nightmares.
  • I win and win and win and lose and lose and lose.
  • I have perfect health and not so perfect health.
  • I enjoy every moment and hate every moment.
  • Iceland win the Eurovision Song Contest and they lose it.
  • I have complete faith in my Cosmic Ordering ability and I don’t believe.
  • I’m an artist, an actor, a surgeon and unemployed.
  • I have rid myself of my inner demons and they are permanently tormenting me.
  • I live in a world full of exciting possibilities and I barely exist.

At the centre of everything is me. I bring all of my worlds together.

Our worlds of unlimited possibilities

I watched the film “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” again yesterday. I love all mind and reality things, and this movie is no exception. In fact, this movie really highlights the effect that our mind has on our reality. It takes a good look at quantum science, and shows how, at a sub-atomic level, everything is made up of energy and nothing. It also says the particles that make up these atoms seem to flicker in and out of existence. Obviously, when they are here, they’re here. But when they are not – where are they? They can’t not exist, simply because they do. One of the contributors of the film said he likes to think of these particles appearing in another universe when they disappear from here, and in that other universe another quantum physicist is wondering where they go to when they vanish.

Moving on slightly, it is true that every possible outcome to every situation exists. Only the outcome we are experiencing is the one that we are noticing… but what about all of the other outcomes? Something can either exist or not exist, there is no in-between state here. The outcomes we are not experiencing, if they exist, must exist somewhere. I’m open to the possibility that all of these outcomes will exist  in some kind of parallel universe, and as we are aware of them, we have somehow ‘tapped into’ this universe to become aware. Now it gets interesting!

Imagine if we can tap into these parallel universes whenever we want to, and select the particular outcome we desire. The number of possibilities is unlimited, so that will mean that the number of possible outcomes is unlimited… we can choose  the next event to move us further along in our lives. We can choose to keep with the outcome that was destined to be ours, or we can change it. We are aware of the actions that we need to take to get to our desired outcome, but again, it is up to us to carry out those actions or not. No choice is the right or wrong one. It is just our choice. And any choice we make will have an impact on our future.

So, imagine living your dream life. Anything is possible as you have all of these worlds to tap into. See what you need to do to get to the next point in your life, and do it. One step at a time, there’s no rush!

Second Guessing

I think I’ll take a break from all of these mind-thing posts, for a short time at least, as I’m starting to meet myself coming backwards, and my intention of bringing clarity to myself is actually causing more confusion and more questions! Do I look? Am I open? What have I missed? What might I miss if I do that instead of doing this? One thing I can’t start doing is second guessing anything.

I think it is OK to want to know things, and to find a clear direction for whatever we are doing, but sometimes it is just as good to simply allow things to happen as and when they do. I always say that everything happens for a reason. That’s fine. There’s a lesson to be learned in every situation. That’s OK too. We are also here to live in the moment, and true living does not involve over analysing everything.

What kind of life would I have if I were to have several things on the go, just in case the main thing I intended to do didn’t work out as it should? I can’t enjoy what I am doing as I’m expecting it to fail by having a back up plan. Not that there is anything wrong with back up plans either… but how can I really enjoy and be focussed on one thing if I have alternatives as well? And especially if people are involved too… someone is going to be let down. And more than likely that will be me!

It’s all to do with the Law of Attraction. What we give our attention to is what we get back. If we give out confused signals, by focusing on more than one thing, we will receive confusion back. We are paying attention to confusion (well, actually all what we are giving our attention to is causing the confusion, but confusion is the overall feeling) and confusion is what we will see more of.

Second guessing anything doesn’t help. It just adds more to the mix.

I think an ideal way out is to just be open to what we need when we need it. That way, we won’t be overwhelmed by information overload. We won’t need an alternative as we will be receiving everything that we need anyway.

I read a quote recently, “Look wide and be lucky” (Told you I’d use it, Bex!), and I think that sums things up nicely. If we are open to receive whatever we need at the right time, there is no need to narrow our attention, as we will be doing whatever we need to at the right time for us anyway. And if we are receiving what we need at the right time, how lucky does that make us? We have no need to second guess anything, as everything is just right. And if everything is just right, there is no need to over analyse anything. We can just be. We can live in the moment, and be happy.

Now, that is what I like. More living and less waffle!

I still feel good though, even with all of the confusion! :)

Perception

This post is a continuation in part from the post I made a couple of days ago, ‘Engrossed’.

I wrote about how we have a need to be more aware of things around us, and how we can miss significant things in our lives while looking in a completely different direction. I wrote that I think it is very human for us to miss things, but another thing that comes to mind is how we also interpret things around us.

We know when we have a sense of urgency around something. We know if there has been an argument, or something else has occurred when we weren’t present, by the atmosphere when we return to the room. We get the feeling that we are being watched by someone behind us, even though we can’t see anyone – sometimes we can actually feel someone’s eyes boring into us from across a crowded room. We can sometimes tell how the weather will be just by walking outside. On occasions, we have premonitions about an event that will occur within the next few minutes, and laugh it off (and usually act surprised) when it does! We are taking in signals from all around us with all of these examples, but are not aware of the signals themselves. But how else would we ‘get the feeling’ what was happening without receiving these signals?

Perception is a funny old thing! Some of the things we notice don’t tell us anything. Other things tell us quite a lot. And there are even certain things that tell us a load of lies!

The things that don’t tell us anything are the everyday, run of the mill things that we see regularly. They provide the background to our lives, but on occasions, some of these ‘background’ bits and pieces leap out at us. An example here would be a shop window. Not a shop that you would go in regularly, but one you need to walk past frequently to get from A to B. You wouldn’t notice anything in the shop window as you walked passed. Later in the day someone may mention that they are looking for a certain type of ‘thing’. Did you see it in the shop window earlier? Something tells you that you might have… yet you didn’t notice it.

The things that tell us quite a lot are a little more obvious. A broken shop window and alarm sounding gives a clear clue. A warm cup of tea in an empty room gives another. We pick information up from these clues although we haven’t seen the complete picture.

The things that tell us lies are the most obvious of all! The thing is, we know what we are seeing, and yet we are seeing something completely different to what we know. Railway lines moving away into the distance… they meet together on the horizon, don’t they?

Being aware of everything around us is a great way not to miss anything in our lives. How we perceive what is around us is equally important. However, spending time looking for these things actually distracts us rather than helps us, because we are focusing on one thing, rather than everything.

Finding the right balance between everything is the best option to follow. Being part of everything is the best way to be connected to everything. But the easiest way of all is just being ourselves. Being ourselves is the human way of being connected. Being human means we will miss things. But we are aware of that anyway… we are aware of everything, but we are not aware of everything.

I think that is the paradox of being aware!

Give it a go!

I was talking earlier today about a book I read almost three thousand years ago. OK, it wasn’t that long ago, but it was still a while. Most of the words are still in my head to this day, and quite a few are in the same order… but I think there’s only about fifty words used in the whole book! The book is ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ by Dr Seuss.

Alright, it’s a book that teaches little ones how to read, but it does have another meaning too.

The main part of the story is the main character’s refusal to try something as he thinks he doesn’t like it. I’m not going to write a review of the book – if you haven’t read it, you’ll have to find a copy for yourself! It is quite fun actually, and quite catchy too! Besides, the title tends to give a lot of the story away…

So, what stops us trying to do something that we have never done before? Our thoughts, that’s what!

We might imagine that we don’t like something because we judge it on our first impression. Not very fair , is it? What has that lovely plate of green ham done to you?

We might imagine that we won’t like something after we have tried it, so think it is better not to try it in the first place. Or we may just be frightened of trying it.

Fear is probably the biggest stumbling block of anything. It holds us in our place. It causes our imaginations to fire up and brings forth all kinds of ridiculous scenarios, that probably would never ever happen anyway. Sometimes these scenarios generated by fear are so far-fetched, we could watch a similar scene in a movie and say that would never happen in real life, yet we believe what is being told to us in our minds.

Fear is irrational.

It’s handy to be cautious at times, not to jump right in and throw caution to the wind, but even being cautious is a far cry from being paralysed by fear.

Think about something that you have always wanted to do, but then had second thoughts. I remember years ago, I was at a seaside resort and they had a swing on one of the piers. Not an ordinary swing. One that hoisted the user hundreds of feet into the air, dropped them until the rope caught, and then left them to swing out to sea and back, before settling down to a stop, when the ride was over. I liked the look of it, but was afraid to give it a go. I was there with a few friends, and together, we decided we would try it. As we were queuing to pay, fear struck me. It cost £10.00 per person to have a go, and I was stood by the kiosk, with two friends, clutching my money trying desperately to think of an excuse to back out. I actually said I was having second thoughts. One of my friends grabbed the note out of my hand and paid. That was it. There was no going back. £10.00 is £10.00 after all. So we went to the waiting area.  We had to wait for an hour seeing the people before us using the swing. All three of us were very anxious when it was our time to go. But we did it. I was in the middle, with the others on either side. When we reached the highest point, my friend to the right had the un-envious task of releasing us. The people down below were the size of ants. All of our hearts were pounding. We heard a click, and we fell. To be honest, I don’t remember the fall as I was screaming that loud, but it felt good. It felt even better when the rope caught and we were swinging back and to. It was actually quite relaxing after the initial shock, and when it was all over we were all glad we had done it. And to think I was seconds away from turning my back on a brand new experience.

Obviously there are certain things that it goes without saying not to try, but there are many more situations, events, and opportunities that can be missed by not trying. To be able to say “Yes! I did that!” afterwards makes going through the fear even more worthwhile!

Another good book I read, not quite as long ago, is called ‘Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway!’ by Susan Jeffers. In the book, Susan advises the only thing we fear is fear itself. It makes sense!

So, next time you think I do not like XXXXX, stop. Are you thinking it … or fearing it?
